Anti-Israel protesters occupy Kirsten Gillibrand's office to demand ceasefire

On Thursday pro-Palestinian protestors occupied the Capitol office of Sen Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) to demand a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel, the latter of which launched a war in the group after the Palestinian terror group launched an attack against the nation on October 7.

The protestors, who sat on the floor and wore shirts and carried signs that read "veterans against genocide," chanted "hey hey, ho ho, genocide Gillibrand has got to go," and "rise up for Palestine."

"Hey, we’re not going anywhere," one man joked as the room missed the response to a chant, saying that they had time to learn the chants.

"Veterans demand a ceasefire. Veterans demand H. Res 786," one sign read, referring to the proposed House Resolution for an "immediate deescalation and cease-fire in Israel and occupied Palestine."
