Ron DeSantis for President? Florida Governor Doesn’t Rule Out Running, Says He’s Focused on 2022 For Now

Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis, though he says he’s focused on winning a second term in 2022, has not ruled out running for president in 2024.

Will Cain, one of the “Fox and Friends Weekend” hosts, asked DeSantis Sunday morning if he would throw his hat in the presidential ring. The governor laughed heartily and said, “We’ve got a great governor’s election in 2022, which will be very important for our state, and quite frankly I think […] it gives us the ability to keep the momentum going, so that’s what we’re focused on.”

“Focused on governorship, but is that ‘no’ for president?” Cain asked.
